Christians owe to Christ that He has saved our life from eternal damnation. (John 3:16-18: which are unexpressed conditional statements in reality if u looked at them in Greek).

This is the reason why u might see Christian evangelists around. They feel it is a privilege and sometimes even, out of extreme gratitude (one that moves you to tears), burden that they share the Gospel, which they believe to be life-saving.

Now that's food for thought. Hopefully, not controversy.

This is in response to mr. sid. 's query on culture playing a role on obligation and life saving.

more on that at my blog.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37286253.post-3753660636843639902007-07-05T00:48:00.000+02:002007-07-05T00:48:00.000+02:00thanks refined one. each to his own. i'm sure i ca...thanks refined one. each to his own. i'm sure i can't do what you do.Bongihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12918640034313468627noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37286253.post-44550171829492050822007-07-05T00:13:00.000+02:002007-07-05T00:13:00.000+02:00you would never realy know if he changed his life ...you would never realy know if he changed his life by your words...but i think you should be rest assured that it had dropped in his heart like a seed..

...nice blog, i realy dont know how you doctors it!
I love ppl but there is no way I could do what you do... :)

www.refinedone.wordpress.comRefinedonehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01290311678156385558noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37286253.post-82620435230262827832007-07-04T10:20:00.000+02:002007-07-04T10:20:00.000+02:00thanks anon. much appreciatedthanks anon. much appreciatedBongihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12918640034313468627noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37286253.post-47904135866481813452007-07-04T04:22:00.000+02:002007-07-04T04:22:00.000+02:00I love your blog! Yay!!

I don't remember where I read it or what culture it was about, but in some if you save a person's life you are responsible for him forever! I wonder if culture plays a role: meaning that some believe more than others that having one's life saved obligates one to the saver...Sid Schwabhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14182853083503404098noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37286253.post-44992334787632000802007-06-27T22:52:00.000+02:002007-06-27T22:52:00.000+02:00Great story!
